Sigma DARE, FLARE, and BARE Palettes

Hello Everyone,

I had a great weekend and a relaxing birthday. I have a lot of ideas that I want to blog about so stay tune for that. Most of you have probably heard of Sigmabeauty.com and I have also mentioned their brushes before in one of my blogs. Well, I will be talking about three of the new palettes that just came out called DARE, FLARE, and BARE.

Sigma is mostly known for their brushes so coming out with three sets of eyeshadow palettes is a change for them. I am surprised on how much detail they put in and the packagings are so cute. What I also like is the brush they have in each of the palettes. Most of the time, companies don't want to spend extra money on quality brushes to be added with the palettes, but Sigma really out-did themselves. The brushes are the same quality as the ones that they sell on their website which is an extra bonus.

So, here are the three different palettes: All of them are in a box with matching covers.

Once you remove the cover, the box is nicely designed with a magnetic closer. There is also a mirror on one side and a nice little pocket for the brush on the other. These colors are awesome!!! The color of each box matches the palettes inside which also makes it easy for you to know what colors you want to use.

These are swatches of the colors without a primer. A primer underneath these colors will make them more vibrant than what they are already. Beautiful and very pigmented.... love it! This palette is great if you want something fun and flirty.

Then of course, the infamous brush that comes along with it. It's also nice that it has the name of the palette printed on the brush.

The brush has both the eye shading E55 and tapered blending E40. The dual-ended brush is very handy to have, especially for eyeshadows because you need to constantly pat and blend in the shadows.

The next palette here is called Bare and its more neutral. A lot of people compare this to the Urban Decay Naked palette. I would say it is very similar, but I kinda like the Naked palette a bit more. For those who doesn't want to spend $48 on a palette, then they can use this instead $35 + a great brush. Again, the packaging is unbelievable. You can tell they put a lot of work and thoughts into this.

All these palettes have matte and satin finishes. With Bare, you can go from a day-to-night look.

Here are swatches without using a primer. Still very vibrant and shows up well on the lid.

The brush in this palette has both the pencil E30 and blending E25. The pencil is good to add more color on the crease and the blending is great for blending out any harsh lines.

The final palette is called DARE and I am in love with these bright colors. This palette is full of warm and cool tones.

It goes from neutral corals to deep reds and from yellow to gold tones. Such a fun palette to wear, but just don't over do it.

This is their best selling brush, the short shader E20 and small tapered blending E45.

These are good variety of colors to start off with and add to your makeup collection.

Have fun!
