Chocolate bunny taste challenge

Hello Everyone,

Happy Easter!
One of the things that I remember about my childhood is eating the chocolate bunny. So, I decided to go to the store and who knows there would be so many different types of chocolate bunnies. There were so many that I didn't know which one to buy. This is just a few pictures that I took, but there are many more choices for you in the store.

I narrowed down my choices and here are the three that I picked out to try:
Godiva solid bunny, Lindt Gold bunny, and Russell Stover hollow bunny. Russell Stover hollow bunny is the one that I also had when I was younger, but I cannot pass up the Godiva and Lindt since they are well-known for making good chocolates.

By the way, which part of the bunny do you eat first? I start with the ears.
Alright, so here are the final verdict for the three brands of milk chocolate:
Russel Stover comes in third

The second prize goes to Lindt

My favorite has to be the Godiva. I can taste it being a bit more rich in chocolate and sweeter than the other two, but in the end it is so minute that I don't mind having any of the three.

What are some of your favorite chocolate brands?
Until next time,

And who is this cute cuddle bunny?

Have a great night!

Urban Decay: Oz Great and Powerful makeup palette review

Hello Everyone,

I really enjoyed watching the movie Oz and I do recommend everyone to go watch it. With great makeup and costume, it inspired me to go get the Oz makeup collection from Urban Decay.

Urban Decay came out with 2 different palettes: One is to resemble Glinda (left), the good witch and the other one resembles Theodora (right), the wicked witch.
The Glinda palettes has lighter colors to create a spellbinding, graceful, and natural look.

The duo-shades are "never-before-seen" in any of the Urban Decay eyeshadow collection. It also comes with a 0.03oz purple eyeliner and a lip pencil.

Here are the swatches for the duo-shades including the color of the lip pencil:
The lip pencil is the swatch on top. The colors are light, great for an everyday look.

The Theodora palette on the other hand, has more darker shades with a black eyeliner pencil and a red high-gloss lip color.

Here are the swatches for her captivating look:

The swatch on top is the red lipgloss

Overall, I do like both eyeshadow palette, but if I had to pick one, I would pick Theodora because I feel the colors are more pigmented. Some of the shades have micro-glitters that can be a bit messy to apply, but all-in-all, I didn't have an issues with blending or the length of wear. They do stay on well for a good 6 hours as far as I have tested.

Also, Easter is coming up and I had to change my mug to an Easter theme:

I love drinking tea in the morning. This cup has a little surprise inside....
I see a....

little pink egg at the bottom!

Here are other things I have been craving and they are not healthy either:
Since I am not a big fan of soda, this is something sweet that I like to drink once in a while besides grass jelly.

Then with my tea, I will have some pirates booty

To top it all off, I love gummy frogs!! I might just have a piece of this now.

Alright, enough rambling.
Until next time,
stay healthy, beautiful, and inspired.

Have a great night!

L'Oreal Feria Wild Ombre

Hello everyone,

My hair is getting longer and I have not dyed it in a while. I was feeling a bit adventurous so I decided to try the L'Oreal Feria Wild Ombre. Again, I don't like paying $150 for someone else to do it when I can try it at home for $13. I heard a lot of great reviews about this and I couldn't wait to see how it turned out.

I know I didn't want anything too dramatic so the longer you leave the product in your hair, the lighter it gets. I only left the product in my hair for 30 minutes and here is how it turned out.

I did add a little hair chalk later when I curled my hair. The color I used is in Violet Sky and you can buy this from CVS. It is very easy to use and also every easy to come off. It comes off when you touch it which I find it's not worth it. It would be better if it only comes off when you wash your hair but it's just chalk and comes off after a few hours.

Here are some of the art works that I did at a baby shower this weekend.

Until next time,
stay healthy, beautiful, and inspired.

Have a great night!

Sally Hansen Gel Polish Review

Hello everyone,

As I was walking down the aisle at CVS, I stopped by the nail polish section of the store and saw these home manicure gel polish by Sally Hansen. I have always love the look of gel nails, but I am too stubborn to go get my nails done at a salon because I don't want to pay for a service I can do at home. I didn't know how it was going to turn out so I just picked up the base coat, a pink color polish, and a top coat. With gel polish, you do need a LED or UV lamp to cure the polish.

The color gel polish I got is called Shell We Dance. I do like the base and top coat, but the pink gel polish is very sheer. With 2 coats, I still feel like it's not opaque enough like the picture on the box. However, I did top it off with a clear coat of glitter polish and it looks great. You do have to play around with it to see what you like and your preference on how thick you like you polish to be.

It is a 3 step process and they do number the bottle cap. Just don't get it mixed up because the bottles look the same.

Like all gel polish, you apply the base coat and let it cure for 30 seconds under a LED or UV lamp. Then apply the color polish and cure for 30 seconds, 2 coats prefer so repeat this step twice. The last step is to apply the top coat and cure for 30 seconds. After that, wipe of the stickiness on
the top of the nails with a nail cleanser pad and you are done! Fast and easy!

It does last quite a long time without chipping. I do like it so I went back to pick up three other shades because CVS is offering a $5 coupon for every $10 purchase.

With so much alcohol and coats on my nail, my cuticles are dry. The best cuticle gel I have used so far is from Sally Hansen VitaSurge. It immediately hydrates and makes my nail look healthier. Not to mention, it smells good too.

Overall, I do like the products and hoping they will be coming out with more shades.
Cheers!

Until next time,

Have a great night!

OOTD: Keeping it casual with thin sweaters

Hello everyone,

It's not quite warm yet, but a thin sweater and a scarf will be suffice for the weather in the city on a "nice" day. During this time, it is still cold and I like to keep my thin sweaters around in my closet. SF weather can change in a matter of a few minutes, especially when the fog rolls in so keep those sweaters handy throughout the year!!!!

Sweater: Banana Republic (Winter sale)
Scarf: Hollister
Pants: Banana Republic
Boots: Banana Republic

Until next time,
stay healthy, beautiful, and inspired.

Have a great night!
