500 points Beauty Insider from Sephora
Hello Everyone,
Sephora is such a dangerous place for me. I try not go there unless I absolutely need to.... like for example, when they have friends and family discount or when they have a good selection for you to redeem your points. But of course, just between me and you (which is everyone who is reading this blog) I tend to go more than I say I do.... isn't that what girls do? Alright, so I have been saving up my points until something really good comes out and when I saw MUFE I had to get it. Hey, it was free, I earned it! Yay, baby!
Let's see what is inside this bad girl! This package is the backstage basics.
HD Primer- I have used it before and it works well. A little bit goes a long way. However, I just can't justify spending $34 on a face primer... I will understand if it was for foundation, but I feel there are other primers out there for much cheaper. That is why I like these samples.... just wish it was in a small bottle rather than these packets.
HD powder- It is always good to apply a translucent powder after your foundation to set it and reduce shine. This is an universal shade for all skin tones. I do like this because it feels very light on the skin and works great if you are being photographed. I only use this for special occasions.
Makeup Forever Lab Shine Star Collection lipgloss in S2- It's a peachy nude lipgloss that I can never have enough. It smells good.... like peach tea if there is such thing.... and it's not too sticky. One thing that I notice is it does make my lips look slightly bigger..... that's a plus right?
MUFE Aqua eyes in 0L- black. I have several of the aqua liners and they are fantastic! It is very expensive.... well, everything from this line is expensive... I keep them in my special case just to look at or if I need to do any professional creative makeup look, that is when I will take them out to play.
The last thing in this little bag is the Smoky Lash Mascara in Extra Black.... just the way I like it. I haven't used it yet, but just by looking at the brush it is very dense. It seems like it can create clumps on your eyelashes.... just an observation. Again, I have not used it and I don't like to hate on it before I even try it.
Here is a product that I LOVE right now... at this instant... because it smells so good. Highly recommend this as a night time moisturizer. Right now at Ulta, there is a 25% off all HEMPZ item. Go there and smell this. You will probably leave with a bottle too.
Another product that I love.... but I swear it is the most expensive shampoo and conditioner ever!!! Tsubaki! Luckily, they were on sale or else I am not going to pay $16 a bottle (It's not that big either so the price is just outrageous). I got this package (Shampoo, conditioner, and a hair treatment) for $26. I'm going to save these bottles and just buy the refills!
Until next time,
stay healthy, beautiful, and inspired.
Have a great night!

My side project as MUA with Jewel
Hello Everyone,
I was able to work with another beautiful young model. Seriously, I feel so old around them... *jealous*
Her name is Jewel and she is also Taiwanese. She is going to school to be a physical therapist. She is ONLY 20! *jealous again* I can see her becoming a professional model in the near future.
I love playing with makeup and making people look pretty so here it goes!

OOTD: Saturday Casual
Hello Everyone,
I don't know about you, but I love being comfortable. A plain white tee and jeans are always a safe way to go. With something this plain, I always make sure I spice up the outfit with a pop of color.
Boyfriend jeans are a hit right now so go check them out at GAP.
My sandals are from a company called Maker's and they make all sorts of flats with cute details. They were $29.99
Here is a close up look of the flats/sandals. They are called Marie 53 in Turquoise.
I as a bit nervous about the zipper in the back, thinking it was going to pinch my ankle, but it didn't. I would say it does run true to size with a little extra space to spare.
Link to the site for the sandal: http://www.makersshoes.com/makersshoes_collections.php?id_shoes=14&id=1
I was also able to drive Mochi around most of the day in her little car seat
Alright, see ya!
Until next time,

Maybelline ExpertWear Luminous Lights
Hello Everyone,
Maybelline just came out with their Expertwear Luminous Lights shimmery eyeshadows.
There are 4 different shade combination sets to choose from: Opal Lights, Gold Lights, Lavender Lights, and Rose Lights. These eyeshadows are suppose to make your eyes light up because of the shimmer. I bought the set in Rose Light and it does nothing for me. Even when I tried to swatch them, I can't even see the colors.
I have rubbed my fingers on the eyeshadow many times to get the color to appear on camera, but this seems like the most color you can get from this set. I can't barely even see it.... very disappointed. It looks like they are all the same color to me. Normally, I do like Maybelline eyeshadows, but this is a no-go for me. Maybe it's just the set I got that doesn't have much color payoff... but I am definitely not going to buy another one.
Until next time,
stay healthy, beautiful, and inspired.
Have a great night!

Revlon Colorburst in Nouvelle Teinte
Hello Everyone,
I am in the process of making my youtube video.... but here is something I am wearing a lot these days. It is the Revlon Colorburst lipgloss in Nouvelle Teinte. It is red with a pink undertone. I think it is a fun color to wear if you are just wearing minimal makeup. I like the way it brings some color to my face without looking overly done.
Until next time,
Stay healthy, beautiful, and inspired.
Have a good night!

Spotting you a mile away- Neon Yellow Heels
Hello Everyone,
Finally! I got my neon yellow heels. I have been looking for you all over town. Who knew you were in my showroom for Shoemint. Now, don't get me wrong, I love them, but I wish they were not patent leather..... I am just not feeling the shiny/glossy look.
Either way, I was excited. I just kept looking at them.....
Then I just have to put them on.... with my running shorts... hahaha. Please ignore my comfortable shorts. I will definitely not pair them up with these shorts. Most likely I will wear them with a black dress so they can stand out.
Until next time,
Stay healthy, beautiful, and inspired.
Have a good night!

Eyebrow Tattoo
Hello Everyone,
I didn't know if I should blog about my eyebrow tattoo, but since I am pretty open about myself, I will just go ahead and do it. I know there may be girls out there that do wonder about it so I want to give you my honest opinion. Most frequently asked questions are: does it look natural and is it painful?
In the past I have tattooed by eyebrows before and it's not permanent. Eyebrow tattoo only last about 1.5-2 years if you maintain it. I have been going to the same person for many years and she is the only person that I trust. If you are ever in the bay area, go check out Amy Chan at Perfection. She is located in the outer sunset. Amy also does eyeliner tattoos, lip liner tattoo, threading, removing of skin tags (little bumps of skin on your neck, armpits, legs, etc). Make sure to schedule an appointment with her before going. Here is the link to her website: http://www.perfection3deyebrows.com/Home.html
Amy takes her time and does a great job overall. She is a perfectionist which is definitely a good thing. Trust me.
Before tattooing, she does apply numbing cream on your eyebrows so you don't feel much pain. However, just a warning, it can be painful in certain areas. I have gotten the color dark brown in the past and this time, I told her to go darker. With dark brown it looks more natural, but I like mine to be dark so I don't have to fill it in. The more eyebrow hair you have, the more natural it will look. Amy does the 3D stroke effect so it looks like hair instead of ink. Having defined and shaped eyebrows really changes a person's look, of course in a positive way if it is done correctly.
Here is a picture of my eyebrow (Sorry, my bangs are blocking the other one). Again, the dark brown does look more natural on me but I went with black this time.
Because Amy is a perfectionist, it took her about 2 hours to do my eyebrows.
Feel free to ask me any questions. I will be glad to answer them.
I have bought this candle from HSN and it smells soooooo good. Looks like a dessert. This is made by Primal Elements and the scent is in Cupcake.
The translucent gel creates illuminated stained glass effect while burning.
Until next time,
Stay healthy, beautiful, and inspired.
Have a great night!

OPI- The Amazing Spider-man Nail Lacquers
Hello Everyone,
Yay!!! Spider-man is out in theater today AND there are nail polish to go with the theme. When OPI comes out with a collection, I like to pick up the mini's unless I really like the colors. Another reason for me to buy the minis is it give me a chance to try it out instead of paying $8-$8.50 for a bottle.
I got this from Ulta for $9 ($12.50 - $3.50 coupon) and it has all four colors. I have not tried them out yet for review. Just from looking at the bottle alone, I do like Just Spotted the Lizard and Your Web or Mine?
Here are the colors:
Just Spotted the Lizard (yellow-green)
Your Web or Mine? (pink). It looks red in the picture but it is actually a darker pink shade.
Into the Night (Midnight blue)
Number One Nemesis (metal, sparkling nickel)
Until next time,
Stay healthy, beautiful, and inspired.
Have a great night and happy 4th of July!
